New beauty brands are constantly launching, each with its own claim to fame, but I was genuinely impressed when I was invited to a launch for Mudita Earth, an Indian-owned small business. Launched in 2022 by mother-father duo Jessica and Pooja Chopra, Mudita Earth aims to create organic cosmetics for women of color. Their goal: to create environmentally friendly products that are not just sustainable but also empowering to those who wear them.

The brand currently has eight products for sale, and they just launched the Swiss Apple Stem Cell & Ceramide Cream a few weeks ago. This vegan alternative is meant to act like natural Botox for the skin. Check out the full collection from this South Asian duo below, and add these products to your skincare routine today.

Swiss Apple Stem Cell and Ceramide Cream: $37

Meant to lock moisture in and help repair the skin barrier, this rejuvenating cream is designed to improve long-term skin health. A little goes a long way, and all you need is a small, dime-sized amount, which can then be applied to your neck and face. Ingredients include seed oil, glycerin, aloe juice, and more, all meant to reduce fine lines and improve the look of stressed-out skin.

Bakuchiol Skin Renewing Facial Oil (Retinol Alternative): $29

Bakuchiol, derived from the babchi plant, is meant to reduce fine lines, improve skin texture, and elasticity with consistent use. The best part is that it's built for all skin types, even acne-prone skin. Simply massage two to three drops into your skin and neck at bedtime, or you can tack it on over your moisturizer. As with all Mudita Earth products, there are no artificial colors, sulfates, or parabens, and each ingredient is ethically sourced, so you know you're putting something good into your skin.

Pineapple & Rosehip Vitamin C Serum: $32

Vitamin C is essential if you want a brighter, more balanced skin tone. This serum is weightless and combines pineapple and rosehip extract to target dark spots and boost collagen production. It's a good fit for sensitive as well as mature skin, and uses ingredients derived from locally sourced California farms. You can massage a few drops directly into clean skin, but make sure to moisturize and pair with a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 after to protect your skin from sun exposure.

Bamboo Microdermabrasion Exfoliating Cleanser: $23

Made with bamboo powder and soothing botanicals, this cleanser exfoliates dead skin cells with ease and leaves you with cleaner, healthier-looking skin. Unlike most exfoliators I've used, this one is non-abrasive and built for sensitive skin. You only need to use it two to three times a week for cell turnover and a brighter, more radiant overall glow.
