At Bombay Times Fashion Week 2026, the Creative International Styling School made its debut while the runway highlighted the evolving face of Indian fashion.

Like New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, and every major fashion festival across the world, India has its own, and it’s a big one. Bombay Times Fashion Week (BTFW) has emerged as a significant platform in India’s fashion calendar, reflecting the evolving dynamics of the industry while bridging the gap between design, commerce, and consumer engagement. The April 2026 edition, held at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, brought together a diverse mix of established designers, emerging labels, fashion institutes, and leading retail brands, presenting a comprehensive snapshot of contemporary Indian fashion.
Structured across three days, the showcase featured a curated lineup of runway presentations, beginning with textile-led collections and institutional showcases, and progressing into experimental design narratives, retail collaborations, and couture-led finales.
Among these show-stopping designers, CISS-Style, a flagship international styling institute and first of its kind, had their BTFW debut with a collaboration and exclusive stall set up during all three days of the show. They offered an inclusive color analysis opportunity, introducing styling to both celebrity guests and aspiring students. Over hundreds of visitors came across their stall, including celebrities like Isha Malviya and Aashish Kedar.
The activation was built to raise awareness about the styling school’s new three-month program, which is a fast-track for aspiring new grads to kickstart their career in the fashion industry. The 150 hour program features practical learning, in-person classes, and sessions with both local and international styling experts in an attempt to give students a true look into the fashion and styling industry, and help them secure internships after the duration of the short-term course.
Located at the hub of fashion, Santacruz West, CISS-Style boasts a beautiful campus with a built-in studio. CISS-Style is the new fad for aspiring styling students looking for an enchanting career. Launched by my father, Vivek Dhawan, in collaboration with celebrity stylists, the institute brings in over 20+ years of industry knowledge to its classes.
Admissions for their very first batch are already open, so if you’re an aspiring young stylist in Mumbai, sign up today before you miss your shot.
