I tested nearly 100 products this year. These are the home, beauty, and tech picks I actually kept using in 2025 — the ones that earned a permanent spot in my routine.

As a product reviewer, tester, and longtime editor, I receive (and purchase) a ton of great home, tech, and beauty items yearly. Literally — many people call me a hoarder because of how many boxes of things I own. And while it’s true that most of the goods I’m gifted or buy usually end up in the “I only used them once” pile, there are a bunch that become everyday necessities.

After receiving close to 100 products this year, here are the ones I keep going back to — bear in mind, these are not my favorite products of all time, just my favorites of the ones I received in 2025. The other list would be far too long, so I won’t bore you with that.

Rare Beauty Matte Lip Liner: $22

Rare Beauty's lip liner is a necessity in my makeup case. This soft lip liner glides easily onto my lips and stays on through sips of drinks and evening eats. It gives my lips a natural, plump look without looking fake or overdone. They come in 11 shades, and you can find one to perfectly match the color of your lip tone — mine turned out to be Humble. I own a bunch and don’t leave home without them. Best part? They won’t dry your lips out.

Kindle Colorsoft: $199.99 (20% off)

Now, don’t get me wrong — I have a full book library, but I do love the ease of carrying a Kindle when I travel. The newly released Colorsoft is a big upgrade to last generation’s model and delivers brighter, more balanced visuals, making it a great companion for those who like to read comics on the go. I have over 100 books downloaded on my Kindle, and on long flights and dizzying commutes, it keeps me company — thanks to its lightweight form factor and weeks-long battery life.

Sony WH-1000XM6 Headphones: $398 (13% off)

These are the pair of headphones I use almost daily — not only for their stellar noise cancellation, but for how comfortable they feel on my ears even after long hours of wear. They’re water-resistant, adjustable, and feature plush earcups and a headband that doesn’t dig into my scalp. Battery life runs up to 40 hours without ANC (30 with it), and I never have to worry about constantly charging them — once a week is enough for me. They’re foldable for easy portability and also come with a carrying case for travel.

Samsung Frame TV 65-Inch (2025): $1,597.99 (6% off)

When my best friend (who does PR for Samsung Entertainment) asked me to test the Samsung Frame TV, I couldn’t resist. The bright 65-inch screen puts every other TV I’ve tried to shame, thanks to its balanced brightness and deep contrasts that look good day or night. It has a proud place in my living room, and when not in use, it displays gorgeous artwork that keeps guests entertained during dinner parties. Setup was quick and easy, and I can stream from all my favorite services (and enjoy a bunch of free channels with Samsung TV Plus). The built-in speakers are decent too, negating the need for a soundbar.

Tatcha Dewy Milk Moisturizer: $64

As someone who constantly suffers from combination skin (oily in my T-zone and dry everywhere else), the right moisturizer is always hard to find. Tatcha Dewy Milk Moisturizer solved my issues, leaving me with soft, supple skin all day long. It packs ingredients like green tea extract, Japanese purple rice, and zinc hyaluronate — all of which leave the skin dewy, glowing, and nourished. I mainly used it during the day as a base for my makeup and liked that it kept my skin feeling moisturized all day long.

Liz Earle Exfoliation Serum: $29.99

Another skincare product that helped eliminate dry skin, this exfoliating serum has become a must in my morning routine. It has a light, clean fragrance, blends easily into my skin, and leaves me with soft, glass-like skin — morning and night. All I do is add a generous amount to a cotton pad and glide it slowly over my skin for a rejuvenated, fresh look.

Jimmy Choo Sunglasses: $338.40 (20% off)

Finding the right pair of sunglasses for the shape of your face is always a hassle, and it’s hard to tell if they’ll actually be comfortable for long hours of wear after just one trip to the store. Lucky for me, these Jimmy Choo sunglasses were a smash hit, looking great and feeling great for hours on end. The sunglasses feature individually placed crystals on each end and give that feeling of quiet luxury without feeling over the top. Plus, they’re on sale right now at Sunglass Hut, making it a great time to buy your own pair.

Loftie Lamp: $360

I’m not one for alarm clocks, but I love a lamp that can gradually wake me up — and the Loftie Lamp is just that. This option has both sunrise and sunset settings to gently put you to sleep and wake you up. I also use mine as a general lamp when the sun goes down. The brightness is adjustable, and since the design is so minimalistic, it doesn’t clash with my room’s decor. With the companion app, you can set up schedules for sleep and rise and also monitor your lamp hands-free. There’s nothing like reading a book in the soft shade of the lamp while it snows outside — not going to lie.

Bandolier Phone Case: $94+

Ever go to a concert but hate that you need to hold your phone the whole time? Bandolier’s phone case solves that problem by turning your phone into a pseudo clutch that you can sling across your body. My leather-made case also comes with a credit card slot that can hold my ID and insurance for nights out — no more worrying about carrying a large bag anymore. Plus, it looks great and pairs well with both casual and dressy outfits. Not to mention, in the last year the leather has barely shown any wear and tear — and I use this case wherever I go, literally.

All-Clad Pan: $149.95

This mini fry pan is the perfect size for breakfast, whipping up fried eggs to pancakes with ease. It’s easy to maintain, super lightweight, and can be stacked atop existing pans to save space. It’s also oven- and broiler-safe — just make sure to hand wash it, as the dishwasher may leave scratches on it.
